Original BTC Shipyard Pendant is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
The Shipyard is engineering you can see: cast brass, a gunmetal crown, a wire guard and a broad reflector, as it would have hung in a dockyard shed. Davey Lighting began in the shipyards of nineteenth-century London; Original BTC took it on in 2010 to keep it making by hand in England, using techniques some of which date back to London’s East India Docks in the 1880s.
