The Design Story
Luca Nichetto designed Upglas for Astep in 2025 from forgotten fragments of Murano glass. Using Rehub's patented process, leftover glass is ground to powder, mixed with biodegradable resin, shaped by hand and fired at low temperature, so every lamp carries its own marbled pattern.
