The Design Story

A mid-century wooden mould gives each Spun Reflector its imprint: the copper takes on the wood grain, so each piece carries its own marks. Davey Lighting began in the shipyards of nineteenth-century London; Original BTC took it on in 2010 to keep it making by hand in England, using techniques some of which date back to London’s East India Docks in the 1880s.
