Original BTC Stirrup 3 Pendant, Black is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
The Stirrup started with a toy: the little searchlight on the back of a toy truck, scaled up into a grown-up aluminium pendant. Its metal parts are shaped in Original BTC’s own metal works, a Birmingham workshop it took on in 2011 that still spins, welds and solders brass, copper and aluminium the traditional way.
Why You’ll Love It
It has a wink of fun inside a serious industrial shape. Spun and hand-finished metal gives a solid, made-to-last feel you notice the moment you lift it.
Made for Real Life
An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. You choose the drop at installation. Wipe it with a soft cloth, barely damp, and dry it. No solvents or scouring pads on the metal.
