Original BTC Cargo Cluster Wall/Ceiling Light with Guard is a wall/ceiling light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
Cargo clusters once lit the holds of ships while they were loaded; this galvanised, guarded version brings that working light inside. Davey Lighting began in the shipyards of nineteenth-century London; Original BTC took it on in 2010 to keep it making by hand in England, using techniques some of which date back to London’s East India Docks in the 1880s.
