Original BTC Quad Pendant, Extra Large is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
The Quad is a glazed brass cage, a little lantern in square form, made by Davey Lighting in four sizes. Davey Lighting began in the shipyards of nineteenth-century London; Original BTC took it on in 2010 to keep it making by hand in England, using techniques some of which date back to London’s East India Docks in the 1880s.

Clear glass on four sides lets the bulb sparkle, and the weathered brass keeps it warm. These are working lights with a past: honest materials, real ratings for weather, and finishes that look better with age.
Made for Real Life
An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. You choose the drop at installation. Wipe it down with a soft cloth and skip the metal polish: weathered, raw and galvanised finishes are meant to look lived-in. Near the sea, rinse off salt now and then with fresh water.
