Original BTC Hatton 3 Wall Light is a wall light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
Facets are hard to cast in bone china; Hatton’s gem-like, symmetrical shade shows off the skill of the Stoke-on-Trent team. Every bone china piece is cast in Original BTC’s own Stoke-on-Trent factory, a multi-day process of pouring, drying, hand finishing and firing that gives the material its glow.
Why You’ll Love It
The facets catch light at different angles, so the shade looks cut rather than cast. Bone china is the signature of Original BTC: founder Peter Bowles was the first designer to use it for lighting, and it turns a lamp into a soft, translucent source of light.
Made for Real Life
It is wired into the wall by an electrician for a clean, cord-free look. Switch it off, then dust it with a soft cloth or wipe with plain water and dry it well. Treat the shade like fine china, because it is.
