Original BTC Hector Bibendum Table Lamp is a table lamp designed by Sir Terence Conran and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
Sir Terence Conran drew the Bibendum for two anniversaries at once: Original BTC’s 21st birthday and the 100th year of the Michelin building, home of his Bibendum restaurant. The rippled shade nods to the famous Michelin man. Every bone china piece is cast in Original BTC’s own Stoke-on-Trent factory, a multi-day process of pouring, drying, hand finishing and firing that gives the material its glow.
