SITU Rechargeable Touch Series Picture Light – Wireless LED Art Light

SITU Rechargeable Touch Series Picture Light brings high-quality illumination to artwork without electrical wiring or a visible power cord. Its slim rechargeable LED light bar mounts to a frame, canvas or wall, then removes from its magnetic mounting assembly for convenient charging. Once charged, simply return the fixture to its mount—no tools are needed to remove or replace the light.

Designed specifically for displaying art, the Rechargeable Touch Series combines 95+ CRI LEDs with three brightness levels and a memory function that recalls the last setting used. Choose warm 2700K or SITU's recommended 3000K color temperature to complement the artwork and surrounding interior lighting.

The fixture is available in six finishes—Brushed Brass, Antique Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Black, Silver and White—making it easy to coordinate with traditional, transitional and contemporary frames. A rechargeable NiMH battery eliminates disposable battery changes, while the five-hour automatic shutoff helps conserve each charge.

Three-Level Touch Control

A soft-touch button at the end of the light bar controls the fixture and cycles through its three brightness settings. The built-in memory function remembers the most recently selected brightness level, so the fixture can return to your preferred setting the next time it is switched on.

At the Low setting, SITU specifies approximately 50 hours of runtime. Medium provides approximately 28 hours, while High provides approximately 16 hours. Actual runtime can vary with operating conditions and battery charge state.

Designed Specifically for Artwork

The integrated LED system produces approximately 85 lumens with 95+ CRI and is available in 2700K or recommended 3000K. SITU rates the LEDs for 70,000+ hours and specifies the light as UV and infrared safe with virtually no heat transmitted toward the artwork.

The light bar measures approximately 15.5 inches wide with a slim 0.75-inch diameter profile. Its standard arm projects approximately 10.5 inches, while the light head provides approximately 60 degrees of pivot adjustment. The mounting system also provides approximately three inches of vertical adjustment for positioning the beam relative to the artwork.

Artwork Size & Placement

SITU's current online guidance recommends the Rechargeable Touch Series for artwork up to approximately 36 inches wide × 24 inches tall. The technical cut sheet specifies beam distribution capable of covering up to approximately 40 inches wide × 30 inches tall. Artwork dimensions, frame depth, mounting position and desired illumination should all be considered when choosing placement.

The low-profile mounting system can attach to compatible artwork or directly to the wall and requires approximately 1/2 inch of clearance behind the artwork. For artwork positioned high above furniture or a fireplace mantel, the Touch Series can also be mounted below the artwork and aimed upward when appropriate.

Rechargeable Battery Performance

The integrated rechargeable NiMH battery charges in approximately 4.5 hours according to SITU's technical cut sheet. A compatible charger is included with the fixture.
