The Opal Series 120 Volt AC LED fixture (no driver) is designed to surface mount over a standard 3 or 4 inch junction box and .50 inch deep pancake boxes for ceiling or wall mount applications. Suitable for remodel and new construction applications and is IC rated when used with a 4 inch electrical junction box rated for direct contact with insulation. The Opal is offered in two sizes with two lumen offerings and produces even illumination without diode image. Features a one piece aluminum die formed housing and trim with a white polycarbonate diffuser. The R4509 series includes a universal bracket (NLOPAC-4BKT-2). Dimmable using a TRIAC or electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer, sold separately.

Each luminaire includes a retrofit kit with medium base socket adapter to mount over 4 inch or 5 inch or 6 inch recessed housings. Kit also includes torsion spring brackets that hold luminaire flush against ceiling. Retrofit kit is intended to be used with a lighting fixture as a lamp replacement.
