Tea Cups & Saucers, Set of 6 in Nastri Multicolor is Missoni at the table: the house's signature graphics, rendered in fine bone china.

The Design Story

Nastri is Missoni's ribbon pattern. Coloured bands loop and cross over white bone china in a mix the house describes as harmony, classicism and elegance, using blue, bordeaux, purple, beige, green and orange. Missoni began in 1953 as Ottavio and Rosita Missoni's knitwear workshop, and its patterns have moved from fashion to the home ever since.

Why You'll Love It

The pattern does the decorating, so even a simple meal looks considered. Bone china is lighter and whiter than ordinary porcelain, which makes the colours read crisply. It mixes easily with plain whites or with other Missoni patterns. The branded box makes it an easy, impressive gift. And it is designed in Italy by a house with seventy years of pattern behind it.
