About the Maker
Master Shin's Anvil (est. 1845) is known for functional tools that double as durable works of art—made with old-world technique and minimalistic design, and forged from steel rich in manganese for strength and flexibility.
Care Instructions
This knife is made of carbon steel and when properly cared for, can last for decades. Sharpen by hand on a whetstone every two to three years depending on use; avoid hard surfaces; hand-wash (no dishwasher/soaking), dry completely, and lightly oil the blade. If rust forms, use a baking-soda paste and soft cloth/toothbrush; avoid foil or steel wool; wash with dish soap and dry well.
