Coffee Cups & Saucers, Set of 2 in Iconic is Missoni at the table: the house's signature graphics, rendered in fine bone china.
A set of 2, Cup Ø 2.3 x H 2.5 in (5.8 x 6.4 cm); saucer Ø 4.75 in (12 cm), holding 4 fl oz (120 ml), presented in a Missoni gift box.
The Design Story
Iconic is exactly that: Missoni's signature zigzag, in vibrant colour, on bone china. Missoni began in 1953 as Ottavio and Rosita Missoni's knitwear workshop, and its patterns have moved from fashion to the home ever since.
Why You'll Love It
The pattern does the decorating, so even a simple meal looks considered. Bone china is lighter and whiter than ordinary porcelain, which makes the colours read crisply. It mixes easily with plain whites or with other Missoni patterns. The branded box makes it an easy, impressive gift. And it is designed in Italy by a house with seventy years of pattern behind it.
Made for Real Life
Made for espresso and short coffees. It is listed as dishwasher safe, so it can be used every day.
Worth Every Penny
Used twice a week for ten years, $390 comes to about $0.38 per use (our math).

What should I pair the Iconic coffee cups set with?
Other pieces from Missoni's Iconic line, or plain white tableware if you want the pattern to stand out.

Is the Iconic coffee cups set really bone china?
Yes. Missoni lists its porcelain tableware as 50% bone ash and 50% porcelain, which is what makes bone china lighter and whiter than standard porcelain.
