Eddy by Cyclampa – Suspended Bicycle Wheel LED Pendant Light

Eddy by Cyclampa takes the most perfect circle in everyday life, a bicycle wheel, and turns it into a ring of light floating over your room.

A genuine die-cast aluminum wheel glows along its rim, held by a chromed steel fork and three fine steel cables. It's a pendant, a sculpture and a nod to the joy of riding, all at once.

The Design Story

Italian designer Fabio Antinori sees cycling as more than a sport: it's a healthy, eco-minded way of living. For Cyclampa he reinterprets original bicycle parts as contemporary lighting, so the wheel, fork and spokes you see are the real thing.

Why You'll Love It

The light comes from an integrated LED strip around the rim, so the wheel itself becomes the lampshade. The spokes cast a delicate shadow pattern on the ceiling when it's lit. The hand-stitched eco-leather ceiling cap adds a saddle-like detail up close. Two sizes, 26 and 28 inches, let you scale it to the room.

Made for Real Life

Three steel cables give about 75 cm (29.5 inches) of height adjustment, so you can set the wheel just right over a table or let it float high in a stairwell. At 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) it's light for its size.
