Artemide Tolomeo Mega LED Floor Lamp 17" Black/Aluminum by Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina

Artemide Tolomeo Mega LED Floor Lamp with 17-inch Black Diffuser and Aluminum Structure by Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina brings the iconic Tolomeo articulated-arm system to a dramatic architectural scale. Combining a polished aluminum structure with the largest black diffuser in the Mega family, this configuration is designed for expansive living rooms, sectional seating, lounge areas, offices and hospitality interiors.

The integrated 31W LED delivers 1,918 lumens of warm 3000K illumination with a CRI above 92 for excellent color rendering. An on-cord dimmer provides convenient control over the light level, allowing the fixture to transition between functional illumination, reading light and a softer evening atmosphere.

Fully adjustable extruded-aluminum arms are balanced through polished die-cast aluminum joints, tension controls and stainless-steel tension cables. The extensive articulated structure allows the diffuser to reach inward over sofas, sectionals, lounge chairs and work areas while the weighted floor base remains positioned near the perimeter of the space.

Why Choose the Tolomeo Mega LED Floor Lamp?

• Large 17-inch black diffuser: The largest Mega shade creates a strong architectural presence in spacious interiors.
• Black and aluminum combination: The dark diffuser contrasts with the polished aluminum structure for a distinctive contemporary appearance.
• High-output integrated LED: The 31W LED system delivers 1,918 lumens without requiring a replaceable bulb.
• High CRI >92: Excellent color rendering helps furniture, textiles, artwork and interior finishes appear natural.
• Warm 3000K light: Comfortable warm-white illumination complements residential, professional and hospitality interiors.
• On-cord dimming: Conveniently adjust brightness for reading, general illumination or softer ambient light.
• Exceptional adjustable reach: The articulated structure can extend the diffuser more than six feet horizontally.

17-Inch Black Diffuser with Aluminum Structure

The approximately 17-inch diffuser is the largest shade size in the Tolomeo Mega floor-lamp family. Its increased scale creates greater visual presence than the 12-inch and 14-inch versions, making it especially appropriate for large living rooms, lofts, sectional seating arrangements and commercial lounge spaces.

The solid black diffuser creates a bold contrast with the polished aluminum arm structure. This combination emphasizes the mechanical character of the Tolomeo design while giving the fixture a graphic, contemporary appearance that works particularly well in modern and architectural interiors.

Exceptional Reach for Sofas and Sectionals

The Tolomeo Mega is designed for situations where a conventional upright floor lamp cannot easily bring light to the desired location. The 17-inch version can extend approximately 77 inches horizontally, allowing the diffuser to reach inward over a sofa, sectional or lounge chair while the weighted base remains near the edge of the seating arrangement.

Its combination of long reach and multiple articulated adjustment points provides some of the functionality associated with an arc floor lamp while offering greater control over the position of the light. This makes it particularly useful in large living rooms, open-plan lofts, executive offices and hospitality interiors.
