wall-mounted-arc-lamp-rancho-mirage-matte-black-gold-shade-weathered-brass-dimmable-nova-lighting
Nova Rancho Mirage Wall Mounted Arc Lamp

Rancho Mirage Wall Mounted Arc Lamp is a wall-mounted arc light that sends an arc of light out from the wall rather than up from the floor.

The light is 1500 lumens of 1500K warm light. It dims from a foot slide dimmer on the floor. Two finishes let you tune it to the palette you already have.

The Design Story

Nova has been making lamps since 1923. In the 1950s and 60s its designer Peter Morelli turned the arc lamp into an American living-room staple, and the brand still works from that same idea: good light, honest materials, a shape you notice.

Why You’ll Love It

It reads as furniture, not hardware. Built from steel, it has the weight a thin fixture lacks. It measures 92 in tall, 18 in wide, and 68 in reach, so the scale is easy to plan around. The light is warm and even: 1500 lumens of 1500K warm light, CRI 90+, so wood, fabric and skin tones look right. Choose your finish: shade in matte black/silver and matte black/gold.

Made for Real Life

Day to day it is easy. Look at the mounting and power details before ordering, since a wall arc stays where it is hung. Dust it with a dry cloth, keep harsh cleaners away, and use a dimmable, flicker-free LED if you dim it, as Nova recommends.

California Proposition 65: this product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.

Curious how the finishes and materials compare? Finishes explained and what your lamp is made of cover it.

LED vs. Incandescent

A bulb’s brightness is its lumen count, and its wattage is only the electricity it uses. Here that means 1500 lumens from a 14W LED, the same punch as an old 100W incandescent, without the heat. Incandescents read a touch warmer and softer, but they run hot and burn out faster. Switching later is easy: keep the same base, and choose a dimmable, flicker-free LED rated 1500K. Want a quick reference?
