Photo from Visual Comfort.

Sean Lavin drew Shakkei from the swirl and softness of hand-formed glass. Visual Comfort describes it as made by skilled artisans, with a swirl detail and a gentle, enchanting glow. The double layers give this X-Large size a broad, soft profile that looks as good from below as from across the room.

Why You'll Love It

Visual Comfort suggests pendants like this for kitchen island task lighting, bedroom lighting or a home office, and the double X-Large is big enough for a dining table or a wide entry. It ships with four 12 inch and two 6 inch rigid stems, so you can set the drop anywhere from 18.2 to 72.2 inches. The integrated 2700K LED dims on ELV, TRIAC and 0-10V dimmers.

Built for Damp Locations

Shakkei Double X-Large Pendant is ETL listed, and Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch.
