Lienhart, an industrial designer trained in Pforzheim, likes forms so pure that nothing on them is decoration. OKU is that idea in solid oak.

OKU is a tray reduced to a slab of oak with a low lip, in natural grain or deep black. The wood is FSC certified and comes from Northern European forests, according to blomus.

Why You’ll Love It

It organizes without looking like storage. The small size corrals soaps or jewelry; the large one carries a full breakfast tray. Natural oak warms a white kitchen, and Black frames ceramics beautifully.

Made for Real Life

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth; do not soak it or use abrasive or acidic cleaners. Like all natural wood, it can be marked by strong sunlight, standing water or long exposure to moisture, so wipe spills promptly. Natural wood varies in grain and tone from tray to tray.
