Leblon Delienne calls the Welcome Mickey its "ultra-design" Mickey: clean lines, an open-armed welcome pose and chromed details that catch the light. The edition is limited to 1,928 pieces, a nod to the year Mickey was born.

Why You'll Love It

Since 1985, Leblon Delienne's workshop in Normandy has been turning pop-culture icons into sculpture, and France has recognized it with the EPV "Living Heritage Company" label for exceptional craftsmanship. The brand works under official Disney, Warner Bros., Peanuts and Sanrio licenses and invites artists such as Marcel Wanders, Kelly Hoppen and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to reinterpret the characters. The maker says each piece is engraved with its seal, year and license copyright, ships with a certificate of authenticity, and its sculptures can be verified by phone through an embedded NFC chip.

It's a limited edition of 1,928 pieces worldwide, according to Leblon Delienne, and limited, numbered pieces are what serious collectors look for. The distributor lists 57.3 lb; Leblon Delienne's site lists a higher weight (76 kg), likely including packaging, so plan for a heavy delivery.

Made for Real Life

This is a display piece, not a toy, so give it a spot out of reach of small hands and away from strong sun. Cleaning is simple: glossy areas: a soft, slightly damp cloth with lukewarm water (mild soap if needed), then dry gently.

Product Details

Maker

Leblon Delienne

Design

Mickey Welcome Life-Size

Collection

Mickey Welcome Life-Size

Created By

LD Studio

Licensing

Officially licensed Disney

Colorway

White & Silver

Surface Finish

Glossy white & chromed silver

Overall Height

55 in (140 cm)

Product Weight

57.3 lb (26 kg)

Made Of

Resin

Edition Size

Limited edition of 1,928 pieces (according to Leblon Delienne)

Provenance

Made in France (Leblon Delienne workshop, Normandy)

Intended Use

Decorative collectible for display; not a toy

Maker Reference (MPN)

DISST14002WISI

EAN

3700408917760

Return Policy

Final sale (not eligible for return, per the distributor)

Where It Shines

Give it a generous space where it can be the focal point of the room: an entry, a living-room corner, a lobby or a showroom.
