Cut a pattern of narrow slots into plywood, a technique called kerfing, and it curves smoothly instead of cracking. Graypants uses that idea to make a shade that feels natural to the touch and is shaped with technological precision.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBehind the shade is a powder-coated steel wire frame, and the shade panels can be swapped and reversed, a feature of the whole Kerflights collection.
