The iron comes from discarded railway tracks; it is hand-forged with water power in a hammer mill that, according to Conmoto, is 500 years old. Every piece carries the marks of the hammer, so no two are exactly alike.

Why You'll Love It

You get a matched pair.

The tall backs keep logs from rolling forward.

The recycled railroad steel is heavy and stable.

Each piece is hand-forged, so the surface is unique.

Made for Real Life

Set them in the firebox, stack logs across the bars and against the backs, and light.
