exec-umbrella-blunt
Exec Umbrella by BLUNT

Exec Umbrella by BLUNT — the largest BLUNT street umbrella, with a taut 138 cm canopy.

The Design Story

BLUNT started in New Zealand with a simple frustration: umbrellas that turn inside out and end up in the bin. Its answer was engineering. Six patented rounded tips sit in pockets at the canopy edge and open like tiny umbrellas, pulling the canopy taut so it holds its shape in wind, and a modular build means parts can be replaced instead of the whole umbrella. BLUNT rates its range to 115 km/h winds.

Why You’ll Love It

The Exec makes a rainy day feel managed. The canopy is broad and drum-tight, the rounded tips are friendly to everyone around you, and there is room for two plus the shopping.

Made for Real Life

Open it overnight when it arrives so the frame beds in, then just dry it after use. For a bag-sized partner, add Metro Folding Umbrella by BLUNT. Day one: open it and leave it overnight so the frame settles. After every shower, dry it open before folding. Warm water and a soft cloth for marks — never a machine or a scrubbing brush — and an occasional look at the tips keeps it working for years.

Product Details

Brand

BLUNT, New Zealand

Canopy span

138 cm (54.3 in) — covers two people comfortably

Length closed

95.5 cm (37.6 in)

Weight

910 g (32.1 oz)

Fabric

Polyester canopy

Shaft

Steel

Edge

Six rounded, patented BLUNT tips (polycarbonate)

Wind tested

To 115 km/h

Colours

Ink Black

Origin

Made in China

Item no.

BL-EXE-INK

Where It Shines

Commutes, school runs and city walks for two.

Questions We Hear Most

Who is the Exec umbrella for?

Anyone who wants the most cover from a street umbrella: its 138 cm canopy shelters two people comfortably.

How heavy is the Exec?

910 g, with a closed length of 95.5 cm.

What makes a BLUNT canopy so taut?

Six rounded tips at the edge open like mini umbrellas and push tension outward, so the canopy stays tight.

Does the Exec cope with gusty weather?

BLUNT tests its range to 115 km/h winds.

Can a BLUNT be repaired instead of replaced?

The design is modular, so parts can be replaced rather than binning the umbrella.

How should I dry the Exec?

Leave it open somewhere dry until completely dry, then fold it.

For the Trade

Designers, stylists, hospitality buyers and corporate gifting teams: members of the LoftModern Trade Program receive trade pricing, up to 20% off retail on eligible brands, plus concierge help with stock checks and lead times.
