EO says the mirrors come in two sizes with details in oak and aniline leather. According to EO, they have been sold by the MoMA Design Store and the Centre Pompidou.

Why You’ll Love It

The glass is real, high-quality mirror, so it is useful as well as decorative. The oak knot and leather string add natural materials where most kids’ decor uses plastic. At 36 × 28 cm (14.2 × 11 in) it is easy to place almost anywhere. It suits a nursery today and a teenager’s room later. And it pairs beautifully with EO’s Ice Cream Mirror.

Made for Real Life

Hang it securely and high, above crib and toddler reach. Dust the glass with a soft cloth; keep the leather and oak dry.

Product Details

Designed by

Nicole & Tor Vitner Servé for EO PLAY

Size

Small, 36 × 28 cm (14.2 × 11 in), 1 cm (0.4 in) deep

Materials

Mirror glass, European oak knot, aniline leather “string”

Weight

Not published by the distributor

Hanging hardware

Not published by the distributor

Origin

Made in the EU

EO item no.

EO123S

A Gift That Lasts

For a baby shower or a first birthday, it’s a present parents keep long after the toys are gone, and it never looks babyish.

Questions We Hear Most

What makes the Balloon Mirror feel so light on the wall?

The shape does the work: a mirror-glass balloon with a little European oak knot and a fine leather strap trailing down like a string, so it seems to float.

Is the Small Balloon Mirror the right size for my wall?

At 36 × 28 cm (14.2 × 11 in) it suits a bedside wall, a shelf nook or a cluster with other mirrors.
