It is built to contract standards, for homes as well as restaurants and hotels.

The Design Story

sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.

The base is 5-prong solid steel star with adjustable foot caps. Namik Ozkaynak designed the Daisy for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.

Dimensions & Details

Base

5-prong solid steel star with adjustable foot caps

Base span

27.5 in (70 cm)

Finishes

chrome plated, black paint, silver (scratch-resistant), gold brass and gold

Pairs with Tango / Daisy posts

dining 27 in (68 cm), counter 32 in (82 cm) and bar 40 in (100 cm)

Finished table heights with a Daisy post: about 29.3 in (74 cm) dining, 34.5 in (88 cm) counter and 42.5 in (108 cm) bar

Post and top sold separately

Where It's Best Placed

Wherever a well-made, quietly designed piece will be noticed.

Living With It

Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.

Questions About the Design

Who designed the Daisy 5-Star Table Base?

The Daisy 5-Star Table Base was designed by Namik Ozkaynak for sohoConcept.

Are there other pieces in the Daisy family?

Yes.
