Its metal parts are shaped in Original BTC’s own metal works, a Birmingham workshop it took on in 2011 that still spins, welds and solders brass, copper and aluminium the traditional way.

Why You’ll Love It

It has the honest look of a period fitting, with a reflector that sends warm light down onto the table. Spun and hand-finished metal gives a solid, made-to-last feel you notice the moment you lift it.

Made for Real Life

An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. You choose the drop at installation. Wipe it with a soft cloth, barely damp, and dry it. No solvents or scouring pads on the metal.

Product Details

Product

School Light Pendant

Maker

Original BTC, Oxfordshire, England

Light type

Pendant light

Made from

Copper

Finish choices

Green, Grey, Polished Copper, Weathered Copper

Size

Ø 40 × H 25 cm (Ø 15.8" × H 9.8")

Hanging drop

13.8" to 68.9" (35 to 175 cm)

Weight

2.5 kg (5.5 lb)

Bulb / light

E26 socket, max 100W

Dims

Yes

Voltage

120V AC

Where it can go

IP20; suitable for indoor

Country of origin

United Kingdom

Original BTC item no.

Green = BT-DP7200/CO/GR/PO; Grey = BT-DP7200/PG; Polished Copper = BT-DP7200/CO/PO/WH; Weathered Copper = BT-DP7200/CO/WE/PO

Where It Shines

It looks at home over a dining table, in a row above a kitchen island, in a stairwell or beside the bed.

Questions We Hear Most

What sets the School Light Pendant apart?

Three things: hand-spun reflector; copper or painted aluminium; polished copper or white interiors.

What are the School Light Pendant’s measurements?

Ø 15.8" × H 9.8" (Ø 40 × H 25 cm).
