Boyhood turns that first drawing into a posable oak figure with movable limbs and magnetic feet. Boyhood is a Danish design brand founded by designer Jakob Burgsø. The studio makes collectible wooden icons from solid FSC-certified wood, including officially licensed characters from some of the world’s best-known brands.

Why You’ll Love It

It is the simplest figure possible and endlessly posable: arms up, sitting, walking. Two heights let you make a pair. Because it is solid wood, no two pieces share exactly the same grain.

Made for Real Life

Dust with a dry, soft cloth, and use just water on a damp cloth for marks, then dry it. Strong sun can shift the color of oak over time, and Boyhood recommends keeping solid wood away from stoves and radiators.

Product Details

Maker

Boyhood (Denmark)

Piece

Boyhood Match Man, Oak

What it is

Solid wood design collectible for display (Boyhood: not a toy)

Sizes

Small, Large

Small size

H 9.3″ × W 1.2″ × L 1.2″

Large size

H 13.8″ × W 1.7″ × L 1.8″

Wood

European FSC White Oak

Look

Solid oak

Nice detail

Movable arms and legs

Nice detail

Magnets in the feet for balance

Suggested age

15+; Boyhood: not a toy, keep away from babies and small children

Country of origin

Denmark

Boyhood item no.

Small: BY-400007; Large: BY-400042

A Gift That Lasts

For a fan, a collector or anyone with a soft spot for childhood, this is a gift that stays on the shelf for years.
