Photo from Visual Comfort.

Visual Comfort describes the Audra pendant as thick, organic, flowing glass, painstakingly molded by European artisans to create an incredibly deep and rhythmic silhouette. The bulb inside, which can be LED or halogen, is diffused through the folds of the glass, so the light picks up its ripples. Sean Lavin keeps the metalwork to a simple canopy and drop so the glass is the only thing you notice.

Why You'll Love It

Audra 10 is made for places where a small pendant can do a lot: over a kitchen island, flanking a vanity, or in a cluster of several as a modern take on a chandelier in a foyer or dining room, which is how Visual Comfort suggests using it. The shade is 7.4 inches across and 9.5 inches tall, and the pendant runs on 120V with a minimum height of 16.5 inches.

Built for Damp Locations

Visual Comfort lists Audra 10 Pendant for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch. The shade is thick, molded glass made by European artisans, with a rippled surface that bends and diffuses the light of the bulb inside.

Product Details

Designer

Sean Lavin

Brand / collection

Visual Comfort, Modern Collection, Audra series

Item number

SLPD865

Finishes

Nightshade Black, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass, Polished Nickel

Dimensions

Width 7.4 in, depth 7.4 in, height 9.5 in

Minimum height

16.5 in

Weight

13 lbs

Material

Molded glass shade

Light source

One bulb, LED or halogen

Voltage

120V

Rating

Indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover

Dimensions diagram, drawn from the Visual Comfort spec sheet.

Where It Shines

Over a kitchen island, flanking a bathroom vanity, beside a bed, or hung in a cluster of three or five over a table or in a foyer.

Who This Is Not For

Audra 10 is a small pendant at 7.4 inches across with a single bulb, so on its own it gives accent light and not the main light over a large table.
