Each rug is drawn in Paris and then made by hand, so the design comes first and the craft carries it out with care. Every rug is certified by GoodWeave, an international certification founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi. It guarantees that no child labor is used in the production chain and supports social and educational programs in the regions where the rugs are made.

Watch the brand film: Toulemonde Bochart, the rugs and the people who make them (video).

The Designer: Florence Bourel

Florence Bourel’s first collections combine clean, graphic lines, raw materials, vibrant colors, and traditional weaving techniques, all within an “artisanal” spirit.
