Modern Lantern was founded in 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas, by designers Stephen and Carrie Fitzwater, who set out to put light exactly where it is needed.

Why You’ll Love It

There is no cord to hide and no outlet to hunt for, so you can finally style the room the way you want. The battery slides out of the base for charging, so the lamp never leaves its spot. Add a spare pack and the light never has to go out. The dark antique brass finish is applied over solid metal for a lamp with real weight and presence.

Our Designer’s Pick
The dome shade throws light down for reading; linen, empire or rattan glow all around.

Made for Real Life

A quick charge every week or two of normal use keeps it glowing.
