1940s-factory-hanging-light
Titan Size 1 Pendant by Original BTC

Original BTC Titan Size 1 Pendant is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.

Wired for North America (120V AC).

The Design Story

Titan is a true factory light from the 1940s. Original BTC still makes it in its classic shape, on armoured steel braided cable, in colors from black to bright red and yellow. Its metal parts are shaped in Original BTC’s own metal works, a Birmingham workshop it took on in 2011 that still spins, welds and solders brass, copper and aluminium the traditional way.

Why You’ll Love It

It is the real industrial article, not a reproduction look, and the colors let you play it straight or bold. Spun and hand-finished metal gives a solid, made-to-last feel you notice the moment you lift it.

Made for Real Life

An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. You choose the drop at installation. Wipe it with a soft cloth, barely damp, and dry it. No solvents or scouring pads on the metal.

Product Details

Product

Titan Size 1 Pendant

Maker

Original BTC, Oxfordshire, England

Light type

Pendant light

Made from

Glass, aluminium (etched glass)

Color choices

Putty Grey with Etched Glass Diffusor (not available right now), Olive Green with Bronze Interior (not available right now), Olive Green with Etched Glass Diffusor (not available right now), Black with White Interior, Putty Grey with White Interior (not available right now), Black with Bronze Interior (not available right now), Red with Etched Glass Diffusor, Red with White Interior, White with Gold Interior, Yellow with Etched Glass Diffusor, Black with Etched Glass

Size

Ø 36 × H 36 cm (Ø 14.2" × H 14.2")

Hanging drop

22.1" to 67.3" (56 to 171 cm)

Weight

2.5 kg (5.5 lb)

Bulb / light

E26 socket, max 150W

Dims

Yes

Voltage

120V AC

Where it can go

IP20;
