The OVOPUR unit combines the unique shape of an egg and the thermal properties of porcelain to preserve and revitalize water. Its sleek curves and total absence of right angles allow water to flow freely and naturally. Designed to take advantage of the knowledge about the new adsorbent materials and the timeless role of sand in water purification, AQUACRISTAL, the multilayer reusable glass cartridge at the heart of the OVOPUR, contains first quality filtration elements that have proven effective to eliminate chemical and organic pollutants from drinking water by mimicking the action of the natural filtration cycle underground. Handcrafted Traditions & Elegance
The porcelain parts of the OVOPUR are now made in Limoges, France, using the millenium old traditions known to produce one of the world's whitest and finest porcelain. Handmade in Canada by a glass blower, the glass base was the base originally designed to support and enhance the OVOPUR and OVOBAR units. This has allowed the OVOPUR to distinguish itself in numerous design competitions and to make its entry in the permanent design collection of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Its rounded shape that fits perfectly the contour of the base of your unit provides increased stability and greater refinement.
